As we continue to monitor the fast-moving Omicron variant, we will extend our online-only Sunday morning worship through the end of January. We will livestream worship from the sanctuary each week with only worship leaders and livestream volunteers present. This is not a decision we’ve made lightly, but it feels like the best decision for these days. It is a way to help slow the spread of COVID and not add to the burden of our healthcare workers during this current surge. We will miss seeing you in person during these weeks and encourage you to continue reaching out to one another in care and love as you have been doing so well during these pandemic days. Committees and Sunday school classes will continue to meet over Zoom and the work of the church goes on. We are so grateful for your patience, grace and care in these days.
The Livestream Service begins at 11 a.m. and can be found on the Watts Street Baptist Church Facebook page. You do not need a Facebook account to watch the video. (You can click “not now” when Facebook prompts you to create an account.) You can watch the service in “real time” or watch the video of the service at a later time.
Before worship, we invite you to gather these items near your computer: the worship bulletin (emailed to the congregation yesterday and available at wattsstreet.org), a Bible, and a candle to light with us at the beginning of the service. We look forward to worshiping together with you!
After the livestream finishes, the archived video will drop down to the right column below the main viewing screen and be available for viewing at any time.
