Worship in February – Online Only
11 am on the Watts Street Baptist Church Facebook page
Only worship leaders and audio/video volunteers present in the sanctuary.
Before worship, we invite you to gather these items near your computer: the worship bulletin, a Bible, and a candle to light with us at the beginning of the service. Wherever you are or whatever time you are watching the service, we gladly say, Thank God you are here!
You do not need a Facebook account to watch the video. (You can click “not now” when Facebook prompts you to create an account.) You can watch the service in “real time”, or you can watch the video of the service at a later time. After the livestream finishes, the archived video will drop down to the right column below the main viewing screen and be available for viewing at any time.
Worship in March – Online and In-Person
We are making plans to return to in-person worship in March, beginning with our Ash Wednesday service on March 2. On Sunday, March 6 (the first Sunday in Lent), we’ll welcome worshippers back into the sanctuary, continuing to practice the protocols we had in place for Advent worship. We look forward to seeing many of your faces then. Sunday services will continue to be livestreamed each week.
Adult and Youth Sunday School classes are invited to regather at church at 9:45 a.m. beginning March 6. Hybrid options are available for those who may not be ready to gather in person. For now, we’ll remain masked and stay 3 feet apart in classrooms, unless you are with your family members or those you choose to be in your pod.
Children’s Sunday School classes will regather March 6 at 11:00 a.m. on the playground. Children are invited to gather in the sanctuary for worship at 11:00 and leave after the first hymn with leaders. If you are not ready for your child to be inside the sanctuary, you are invited to meet on the playground at 11 am, weather permitting. Check in with the adult greeter at the gate to sign in your child for Sunday School.
