Join us online for worship on Sunday, January 30, the Fourth Sunday of Epiphany.
The service will be livestreamed at 11 am on the Watts Street Baptist Church Facebook page
This week we welcome Rev. Amy Armstrong as our guest preacher. Amy has been a member of Watts Street since 2007 and has served in many ministry positions in and through this congregation. She is the Program Manager of the Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) here in Durham and next week begins a new job as the Director of Children’s Ministries and the Interim Director of Youth Ministries at Binkley Baptist Church in Chapel Hill. She and her wife Joy and their daughter Alysa are treasured parts of this community of faith. We celebrate this opportunity for Amy while also naming how much we will miss them as they transition their church life to Binkley. We are grateful to get to hear from her from the Watts Street pulpit this week.
Before worship, we invite you to gather these items near your computer: the worship bulletin, a Bible, and a candle to light with us at the beginning of the service. Wherever you are or whatever time you are watching the service, we gladly say, Thank God you are here!
You do not need a Facebook account to watch the video. (You can click “not now” when Facebook prompts you to create an account.) You can watch the service in “real time”, or you can watch the video of the service at a later time. After the livestream finishes, the archived video will drop down to the right column below the main viewing screen and be available for viewing at any time.
