Many of us have been praying for the 12 families living in the Braswell Properties on Buchannan Blvd. Their homes were recently acquired by a property management company and they received notice that they must vacate the premises by the end of the month. Many have no family in town, are elderly, disabled, and have lived there for 45+ years. They are finding rents in Durham soaring and out of their reach. Trinity Ave Presbyterian Church (TAPC) is hosting a community fund that will be solely dedicated to these tenants’ needs as they navigate this crisis.
