“State of the Church” Learning Session

During the Sunday School hour on May 18, all Adult and Youth Sunday School classes are invited to a presentation about the Watts Street Baptist Church budget and our stewardship of our precious resources. Our Treasurers will soon be embarking on drafting our 2026 budget that funds WSBC’s dynamic work in the face of increasing costs that we are all seeing, as well as unsettled days in some of our households due to federal budget decisions. At this presentation you will learn what is in WSBC’s budget, as well as trends in Watts Street giving and stewardship. This is an opportunity to peek behind the curtains and understand all those line items from the budget reports provided at our church meetings and how our stewardship helps WSBC thrive.
Spring Church Meeting and Lunch

Join us for our Spring Church Business Meeting as we introduce new members and share updates from various church committees. Dorisanne will share about her sabbatical and offer some further thoughts on the State of the Church. Our youth ministry will serve a picnic-themed lunch (chicken salad croissants, pimento cheese sandwiches, pasta salad, chips, strawberry shortcake, tea, lemonade) and all tips/donations received will support their 2025 youth summer service/learning experiences.
