Service of Lament and Hope

December 16, 2021

Sunday, December 19, 4 p.m. in the sanctuary.

The holidays can be a particularly painful time for those who have experienced loss, and in the midst of a pandemic grief and loss is magnified and surely touches us all in some way. In these days you may be mindful of the loss of a loved one, or some other kind of grief from this past year and beyond. This Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. we’ll have a brief service in the sanctuary designed to provide space for prayer, reflection and remembrance for any grief you might be carrying in these days. We will hear scripture, experience guided prayer, space to write down reflections, and individually light candles of remembrance. All are welcome. We will be masked and use our Sunday morning worship protocol for distancing.
