This team offers practical and emotional support to persons in our community living with HIV/AIDS. Team members complete a two-day training program through the Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina, a nonprofit organization that promotes compassionate and nonjudgmental care, prevention, education, and advocacy.
Hannah Ministry serves women and couples who have experienced pregnancy loss, infant loss, or infertility. We acknowledge the physical, emotional, and spiritual impact of these struggles and seek to bring this grief out of the shadows of secrecy and into a community of compassion. To this end, the ministry offers resources and confidential, supportive care to those affected.
The W. E. Stanley Mission House provides a comfortable, peaceful, and nurturing environment to assist in the care of patients and their families who are receiving medical care away from home and need affordable housing assistance. The facility is operated in partnership with Host Homes at Duke University Medical Center.
