We join with people around the world in praying for Ukraine. At noon on Wednesday, March 9, we will offer a brief prayer service on Zoom. All are welcome. A Zoom link will be sent out by email to the congregation next week.

A lot of folks asked me how they can help Ukraine and its people during this terrible time. So here is what I suggest:
If you are in the US: write to your Congressional representatives (House & Senate) and DEMAND that the U.S. SEIZE, and not just freeze, assets of the various corrupt Russian oligarchs who form Putin’s inner circle. Take their condos in Miami, mansions in London, penthouses in NYC, professional soccer and basketball teams, etc. (this goes for my UK-based friends also). The only way this will end is with Putin gone – and the only people who have a realistic chance to do it are his kleptocratic cronies.
