We are canceling Sunday school, worship and all other activities for Sunday, December 9. This includes the Service of Remembrance and Hope and all youth activities. The forecasters feel certain that we’re in for a substantial amount of snow/sleet/ice and we are encouraging everyone to stay home and safe while the storm lasts.
Our prayers are that you awaken to a sense of Advent Peace and that you are able to find holy space in the beauty of the imposed Sabbath at home. We also hope that your power stays on!
If you should find yourself in need in the coming days, do be in touch with one of the ministers or your Deacon and we will pool our resources to see how we can help. We’re grateful for the way you care for each other and look forward to gathering with you this coming Wednesday night for the children’s Christmas pageant.
