We invite you to worship with us at Watts Street every Sunday at 11 am! Whether you gather with us in the sanctuary or you watch the livestream service from home, we gladly say, “Thank God you are here!”
The Livestream Service begins each Sunday at 11 a.m. and can be found on the Watts Street Baptist Church Facebook page. You do not need a Facebook account to watch the video. (You can click “not now” when Facebook prompts you to create an account.) You can watch the service in “real time” or watch the video of the service at a later time.
Communal Safety Protocols for Indoor Worship
We ask that everyone enter through the Watts Street doors unless you have need of the elevator or are dropping your child off at Sunday School. Our Welcome Table will be outside the Watts Street entrance for you to pick up your nametag.
You may exit through any door, though we ask that people take care not to congregate around doorways. After the service, we encourage you to move outside for conversation and greeting one another.
Masks will be required in all indoor spaces for everyone over age 2. Worship leaders will remove their masks at the pulpit but there will be ample social distance between the pulpit and the first row of congregants.
Seating is designated downstairs by pew cushions which will only cover half of each pew, alternating ends from pew to pew. Tape will mark where to sit in the balcony.
- Beginning at 10:45 am, our ushers will facilitate seating. We will fill in as best as possible from the front.
- Up to four people can sit together. Our ushers will ask if you are comfortable with others sitting beside you or if you prefer to have more social distance. They will take things from there and either fill in the other seats on your cushion or determine that your row is full.
Bathrooms and the elevator should be used one household at a time. We will continue to monitor local levels of Covid and adjust our protocols and adjust our plans as needed.
