Palm Sunday
Sunday, April 13
11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
As we wave our palm branches, we join the crowd who greeted Jesus as he entered Jerusalem and began the final week of his journey to the cross.
Good Friday Service
Friday, April 18
6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
Through hymns, readings, silence, and confession, we commemorate the death of Jesus. During our Good Friday service, we will journey through Jesus’ final moments through the eyes of Peter. In Peter, we see a little of all of us—he is devout and resolute, zealous and rash, and even fearful and flawed. If any of us can locate ourselves in the crucifixion story, it is likely we can see ourselves in Peter. Through Peter’s experience, we will walk through the story of Jesus as he faces his crucifixion and death. The Chancel Choir will also lead in this service. If you are worshipping online, please have ready a blank piece of paper and a pen for use during the service.

We’ll also ring our Alleluia bells, sing Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus”, and celebrate baptism on this joyous day.
