Palm Sunday, March 24: 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We begin our Holy Week journey by waving our palm branches as we remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
Good Friday Service, March 29: 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. We journey through Jesus’ final moments through the eyes of Peter. In Peter, we see a little of all of us—he is devout and resolute, zealous and rash, and even fearful and flawed. If any of us can locate ourselves in the crucifixion story, it is likely we can see ourselves in Peter. Through Peter’s experience, we walk through the story of Jesus as he faces his crucifixion and death. The Chancel Choir also leads in this service.
Easter Sunday, March 31: 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We gather on the day of the Resurrection, celebrating and anticipating an encounter with the Risen Lord! Everyone is invited to bring fresh flowers for the decorating of the Easter Cross. We’ll ring our Alleluia bells, sing Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus”, and celebrate the baptisms of Callan Durack, Avery Houser, Luke Houser, Edie Mulhauser, Thomas Park, Nina Rublein, and Simon Snell. During the service, we’ll also collect a special Easter Sunday offering to support World Central Kitchen’s efforts to provide meals and humanitarian support in Gaza, Israel, Ukraine, and surrounding areas.
