For the Living of These Days…

December 27, 2018

On Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7 p.m. in the chapel, all are welcome to a space of reflection and sharing around the “living of these days”—days that often present a challenge to find hope and strength. Dorisanne guides the time with readings and questions to help both in connecting with our grief around some of the ways of the world and the places that we find hope. This meditative style will continue in the coming semester, but the readings will follow Anne Lamott’s newest book, Almost Everything: Notes on Hope. Each week’s questions will arise out of one of the readings, but you can also just show up with no book. If you’ve come every week or haven’t yet attended, you are welcome into this time. If you would like a book, they are available at any bookstore or online. The church will be making an order of books on January 3. If you’d like to be in on the order, please email Dorisanne at Dorisanne@wattsstreet.org. Next semester begins on Wednesday, January 9.
