The All-Ages Beach Retreat is a weekend at Fort Caswell for all ages—single adults, couples, families with children, grandparents, and youth. This weekend is a great time for lounging on the beach, fishing, tennis, long walks, kite flying, jigsaw puzzles, softball, basketball, reading, rocking on the porches, relaxing, and talking with WSBC friends. See below for retreat schedule, costs, driving directions, and other information.
2022 Dates: Friday, April 29-Sunday, May 1
NOTE: We will follow our current WSBC masking policy and ask that you wear masks during all inside group gatherings. Please also do your best to mask whenever you are inside a building (other than your private room). When we are eating, you will have the option to eat inside or outside. Thank you for your help with this – we are very excited about being together and getting back to beautiful Oak Island!

About Fort Caswell
N. C. Baptist Assembly (Fort Caswell) is located on the eastern tip of Oak Island, near Southport. Construction on the fort was begun in 1827 to protect the mouth of the Cape Fear River. Our accommodations are in renovated and air-conditioned buildings that originally served as offices and officers’ quarters. The marching fields, beaches, and piers provide numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation.
