“Leadership isn’t the private reserve of a few charismatic men and women. It’s a process ordinary people use when they’re bringing forth the best from themselves and others. Liberate the leader in everyone and extraordinary things happen.” – James Kouzes
Each of us is given the power to lead and to be a positive influence in the life of our church community and at work. Join us on Saturday, August 26, from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm, as Tim Parker facilitates a workshop on effective, transformative leadership. Tim, a WS member, has a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and a Doctor of Business Administration with a focus in Organizational Leadership. In addition, he has lots of organizational leadership and teaching experience. Tim is generous to offer his experience and knowledge for this workshop. We’ll explore theories and behaviors of effective leadership, five critical questions every organization needs to ask, and practical methods of running an effective meeting.
This program is open to everyone – no position, title or experience required!
Lunch is provided. To register or get more information, contact Diane Eubanks Hill (firstname.lastname@example.org, 919-6881366). Registration deadline: August 20.
