August 13 Minute for Mission
Church World Service Durham is our August Minute for Mission partner. CWS Durham connects newly arrived immigrants and refugees with resources and services to meet their immediate needs and assist them with gaining the skills and tools needed for long-term self-sufficiency. The staff provides case management services, immigration legal services, English classes, and assistance with employment. On August 13, Ellen Andrews, the director of CWS Durham, will share with us how to get involved and support their goal of welcoming refugees and immigrants from around the world into lives of freedom, hope, and opportunity in the Triangle.
