An eight week Sunday School series will explore the challenges caused by current global migration from a Christian perspective. Our objective will be to create a space where we will reflect on how we might go about building a beloved community with justice for all, including immigrants. Using the study guide, For You Were Once a Stranger: Immigration in the US through the Lens of Faith, we will address immigration issues in their complexity: “from powerful global economies to fast-changing local cultures, from international politics to family histories woven across borders, from worldwide patterns of migration to the very heart of American identity.” This class will begin on March 24 and conclude May 19.
