Join WSBC and other members of Interfaith Creation Care of the Triangle in eating a plant-based diet for Lent 2022 starting on March 2 and ending on Easter Sunday. We can each do something to reduce global warming! Find out more and choose a level of participation at https://greenerlent.org/.
While Lent is traditionally a time to give something up, we can choose to reframe this concept as a letting go of that which does not serve our body, our soul, and our planet. From this emptying, might we be left with space for being filled with that which nourishes us in a different way? We invite you to ponder with us during this time what we can gain from letting go of having meat (and even cheese and eggs) on our plates.
